DAY 1: MARRAKECH – AIT BENHADDOU – DADES VALLEY

Pick up at 8.00hrs at your hotel or riad in Marrakech. We will then leave Marrakech behind and start crossing the High Atlas Mountains by Tizi n Tichka pass (at 2,260m altitude), passing through interesting villages until we reach the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou (declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1987), a fortified enclosure within a walled town that you will surely recognize since it has been the setting of many famous films such as Gladiator, Sahara, Asterix and Obelix, Cleopatra, among others. After the visit to the Kasbah, we will continue our journey passing through Ouarzazate and the impressive palm grove of Skoura until we reach Dades Valley. Dinner and overnight in an hotel located in the Dades Gorges.

DAY 2: DADES VALLEY – TODRA GORGES – MERZOUGA (ERG CHEBBI)

The next day, after breakfast, we will continue our tour through many Berber villages. We will visit the Todra Gorges and then continue our route straight to the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, where the dromedaries will be waiting for a camel ride until we reach the heart of the desert. Stop to watch the sunset. Upon arrival to the camp, a traditional and refreshing Moroccan tea will be waiting for you, as well as an exquisite Berber dinner. Night animated with traditional Berber music (Berber drums). You will also be able to enjoy a unique and unforgettable night thanks to the large number of stars that populate the skies of the desert. Overnight in nomad tents.

DAY 3: MERZOUGA – DRAA VALLEY – OUARZAZATE – MARRAKECH

You are in the desert enjoying the magic of the dunes! It is worth getting up early to see the sunrise from the top of the dunes and afterwards return with the dromedaries to the hostel for breakfast and shower. After breakfast, we will start our route back to Marrakech, passing through the Draa Valley, composed of more than 10 million palm trees and stopping at Sahgro to enjoy the views. Then we will cross the Anti Atlas by Tizi n Tnifift pass (of 1,660 meters) and Agdez until we reach Ouarzazate (cinema city). After lunch we will continue our route back to Marrakech.
